Dungeon Ward

Privacy Policy

Effective date: 2026-10-08
Last updated: 2026-10-09

This policy explains how Dungeon Ward (“Game”, “we”, “us”) processes information when you play the mobile game on Android or iOS.

1. Developer and contact

2. Services used by the Game

Depending on platform, connection, consent, and current service configuration, the Game uses Google AdMob or Unity LevelPlay (ironSource) to deliver ads. LevelPlay may use enabled ad-network partners, which can include Google AdMob, Meta Audience Network, Unity Ads, or Yandex. The active ad route and mediated networks depend on remote configuration and ad-account settings.

The Game uses Firebase Analytics for gameplay and app-use measurement, Firebase Crashlytics for crash reports, and Firebase Remote Config for configuration. When online Unity Services are available, Unity Authentication can automatically create or resume a pseudonymous player identity; no username or password is requested for this identity. On Android, Google Play Games Services may provide platform sign-in, leaderboards, achievements, and cloud saves. On iOS, Apple Game Center may provide player identity, leaderboards, achievements, and cloud saves. Google Play or Apple processes in-app purchases for its platform.

3. Information processed

Advertising and consent

Ad and mediation services may process the device IP address (which can indicate approximate location such as country or region), device and app information (such as model, operating-system version, app version, and language), an advertising or app-instance identifier (such as Android Advertising ID or, on iOS, IDFA when available and permitted), and ad events such as requests, impressions, clicks, rewards, or errors. These services use information for ad delivery, ad measurement, frequency controls, and fraud or invalid-traffic prevention. Consent or privacy choices may also be processed where required.

Gameplay and app analytics

Firebase Analytics receives events about Game use, including tutorial progress, levels started/completed/failed, character class and level, scores, virtual gems earned or spent, ad-related actions, and selected interface or promotion interactions. Some events include progress counters such as time played or in-game purchase counts. The Game also sends a broad cohort label used for testing or configuration. The event code does not intentionally send your real name, email address, or payment-card details to Firebase Analytics. Firebase and the Game may use app-instance or device identifiers and basic device/app information to associate events with an installation and report aggregate use.

Crash and diagnostic information

Firebase Crashlytics may receive crash reports and stack traces, crash time, app state, app version, operating-system and device information, and random installation or session identifiers. Crash reporting is enabled on supported store builds, subject to platform and build conditions, and is used to diagnose and fix stability problems.

Online identity, leaderboards, and saves

Unity Authentication may process a randomly generated player ID and technical authentication tokens when the Game signs in anonymously while online. The Game uses that player ID to derive a cohort assignment; the underlying Unity player ID is not sent as a Firebase Analytics user ID by the Game.

If you use Google Play Games features, Google may provide the Game with a Play Games player ID and gamer name and process scores, achievements, and other platform information. Leaderboards can show your gamer name and score according to your Google Play Games privacy settings. Google Play Games cloud saves may contain character names, character and level progress, equipment, settings, and related game progress, including some virtual-currency or purchase-related progress counters.

If you use Apple Game Center features, Apple may provide or process a Game Center player identifier and display name for platform features such as leaderboards. Scores and achievements may be associated with your Game Center account. Game Center cloud saves may contain character names, character and level progress, equipment, settings, and related game progress, including some virtual-currency or purchase-related progress counters.

In-app purchases

Google Play Billing or Apple In-App Purchase processes payment. The Game receives the product and purchase result needed to grant or restore in-game items and may process a store transaction reference for that purpose. The Game does not receive or store your full payment-card details. The stores handle payment credentials under their own terms and privacy policies.

4. How information is used

5. When information is shared

Information is transmitted to providers needed for these features: Google (AdMob, Firebase, Google Play Games Services, and Google Play Billing); Unity Technologies and ironSource/LevelPlay (mediation and Unity Authentication); and, if enabled through mediation, ad networks such as Meta Audience Network, Unity Ads, or Yandex. Apple receives information needed for iOS purchases and Game Center features such as identity, leaderboards, achievements, and cloud saves. What each provider receives depends on the feature used, ad route, settings, and your choices. Advertising networks may process ad-related information under their own privacy terms. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect users and services.

6. Choices and controls

7. Retention and security

Game data saved only on your device remains there until you clear or remove it. Google Play Games and Apple Game Center cloud saves remain subject to each platform service’s retention and deletion controls. Firebase Analytics retention depends on project settings and Google’s service terms. Google documents that Crashlytics crash traces and related identifiers are kept for 90 days before removal begins. Other providers apply their own retention periods.

We and our providers use safeguards, including encrypted network connections such as HTTPS/TLS where supported. No transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.

8. Data deletion requests and your rights

You can request deletion of Game-related data or the anonymous Unity player identity by emailing support@dungeonward.com. To help locate data, include the platform and, if relevant, your Play Games gamer name or player ID and affected character name. Do not send passwords, payment-card numbers, or authentication codes. We will review the request and delete data we control or submit an available deletion request to the relevant provider. Some information is controlled by Google, Apple, Unity, or advertising providers and may also need to be deleted through their account tools; provider retention and legal requirements can apply.

Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information, and to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Contact us to exercise these rights. You can also use the privacy and data controls available through your Google Play Games or Apple Game Center account for data held by those services.

9. Children

The Game is not directed to children below the age at which parental consent is required under applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without any consent required by law. If you believe a child has provided information, contact support@dungeonward.com.

10. International processing

Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own, including the United States and other locations where they operate. Where required, providers use legal safeguards for international transfers.

11. Legal bases in the EEA, UK, and similar regions

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on providing the Game services you use, legitimate interests in operating, securing, measuring, and improving the Game where permitted, consent for advertising or tracking where required, and legal obligations. You can withdraw consent for advertising choices through the available privacy options and device controls.

12. Changes and third-party privacy information

We may update this policy as the Game or its providers change. The updated date above shows when this page was last revised.
